BBC THE REPAIR SHOP VIEWERS IN TEARS OVER EMOTIONAL BRADFORD COUPLE'S 'BEAUTIFUL MOMENT'

A Bradford couple left BBC The Repair Shop viewers in tears after their emotional reaction to their fixed music box on Wednesday night.

The childhood sweethearts, Baz and Bernadette, brought in their broken music box hoping Steve Fletcher could work his magic and get the damaged box back to a working condition.

Speaking about the box Berry said: “I was in the army - 1961 I joined and Bernadette used to write to me so I bought that (the music box) because I wanted to buy her something but unfortunately it was broken by the time she received it.”

He revealed that in 58 years his wife had never seen it working and Bernadette shared that she never got rid of it because it was sent to her by someone she loves.

Steve saw how much it meant to them and assured them he would try his best to get the music box working again. He said: “What a great couple Baz and Bernadette are. That’s true love, real true love so I’ve got to get this working.”

After Steve’s hard efforts he managed to get the music box up and running which left Baz and Bernadette speechless as they broke down in tears within minutes of seeing the finished product.

In disbelief Bernadette said: “We can’t thank you enough - isn't it lovely. To think something like that can bring you so much joy and feeling is so lovely.” Bex added: “It’s priceless, it's a symbol of our love.”
